Mukti - Liberation
Freedom from the cycle of birth and death through union with the Divine.
Mukti is liberation from the cycle of reincarnation. Unlike traditions that seek escape from the world, Sikh mukti is achievable while living (jivan mukti) through complete God-realization.
One who dies while yet alive, attains liberation.
Mukti is realized through ego-death while physically alive.
