Samma Kammanta - Right Action
Acting ethically by avoiding harm and cultivating virtue.
Right Action involves abstaining from killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct. Positively, it means protecting life, practicing generosity, and using sexuality responsibly and ethically.
An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.
Right action creates the foundation for mental cultivation.
