Metta - Loving-Kindness
The unconditional wish for all beings to be happy.
Metta is the sincere wish for the happiness and well-being of all beings without exception. It is developed through systematic meditation, starting with oneself and extending outward to all beings.
Let no one deceive another or despise anyone anywhere. Let no one through anger or ill-will wish harm to another.
Metta practice softens the heart and overcomes ill-will.
