Upaya is the bodhisattva's ability to adapt teachings and methods to suit the needs, capacities, and circumstances of different beings. It arises from wisdom and compassion.
There are 84,000 dharma doors for 84,000 types of beings.
Skillful means allows one message to be communicated in countless ways.
