Space as Brahman
Space (akasha) as a symbol for the infinite.
Space is used as a metaphor for Brahman - infinite, all-pervading, unchanging, containing all things yet untouched by them. Meditation on space leads to the infinite.
As large as this space is, so large is the space within the heart.
Space points to the unlimited nature of the Self.
