Junior Youth Empowerment
Adolescents need specific support to navigate the transition to adulthood and develop their spiritual identity and service orientation.
The Bahá'í junior youth empowerment program addresses the 11-15 age group — recognizing that this critical transitional period determines much of adult character. The program develops moral capacity, intellectual skills, and service orientation through study, artistic expression, and community service projects. It has been implemented in many diverse communities globally.
Youth should become the moving spirit of the new world.
Each group of junior youth is guided by an older 'animator' through study, artistic expression, and community service projects.
