Devotional Meetings
Regular gatherings for prayer and devotion open to all members of the community build spiritual bonds and make worship communal.
Devotional meetings — gatherings for prayer, scripture reading, and reflection open to all — are a core feature of Bahá'í community life. These meetings are not exclusively for Bahá'ís; neighbors and friends of all backgrounds are invited. They provide a regular rhythm of communal spiritual life that sustains individual practice.
The friends of God should open their homes for devotional gatherings.
Open devotional meetings represent an innovative form of religious gathering that crosses traditional boundaries between insider and outsider.
