Ease in Religion

The teaching that Islam brings facilitation, not hardship, and extremism leads to failure.

The Prophet (PBUH) said: 'Religion is ease. Whoever makes religion difficult will be overcome by it. So aim for what is right, approach perfection, give glad tidings, and seek help in the morning, evening, and part of the night.' This hadith establishes that Islam is meant to be achievable, not overwhelming. Allah does not burden souls beyond their capacity. The Prophet warned against extremism and recommended consistency over occasional intensity. Even worship should be sustainable. This teaching protects against burnout and maintains religious practice across a lifetime.

Religion is ease. Whoever makes religion difficult will be overcome by it.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Sahih Bukhari, Book 2, Hadith 38

Aisha (RA) reported that whenever the Prophet was given a choice between two matters, he chose the easier one, as long as it was not sinful.
