Tzolk'in - The Sacred Calendar
The 260-day sacred calendar that governs ritual life and divination.
The Tzolk'in combines 20 day signs with 13 numbers, creating a 260-day cycle. Each day has its own character and destiny. This calendar governs births, marriages, plantings, and all important decisions. Day-keepers still use it for divination and counseling.
Know the day of your birth, and you will know your destiny.
The Tzolk'in remains the spiritual heart of Mayan calendrics today.

- What the Maya calendar says about time
Twenty day signs turn against thirteen numbers to make a 260-day round. This is the count used for divination and for deciding when to do things.
