Haab - The Solar Year
The 365-day agricultural calendar tracking the seasons.
The Haab consists of 18 months of 20 days each, plus 5 unlucky days (Wayeb). It tracks the agricultural seasons - planting, growing, and harvest. The Haab combines with the Tzolk'in to create the 52-year Calendar Round.
The Haab counts the seasons; the farmer's year turns with its pages.
The Haab practical calendar interlocked with the sacred Tzolk'in for complex timekeeping.
