Pratityasamutpada teaches that nothing exists independently. Everything arises through a web of interconnected causes and conditions. This understanding reveals the empty yet functional nature of reality.
When this is, that is. From the arising of this comes the arising of that.
Understanding dependent origination is key to realizing emptiness.
